extremely simple! I was able to build it very quickly just finding scrap wood around the house! I have never messed around with a black art type table but have created some great effects with this design. I am also not a skilled wood-worker either. In addition to that, it gave me a number of ideas for other table designs. The best part is, you can modify it to fit your style.
