Cell Phone Card Prediction

Effect:
In this mentalism card prediction, after you leave the room your assistant has a card freely selected by an audience member then calls you on a cell phone. You then use your magical powers to reveal the spectators card from a different room over the cell phone.

Secret:
The card is freely selected by the spectator. Your assistant uses a timed code to tell you what card was selected by the spectator.

• 1.Leave the room with your cell phone.
• 2.Your assistant has the spectator pick a freely selected card. The card can even be thought of or written on a piece of paper and showed to the audience. It is truly a free selection. For this illustration let's say the spectator picked a four of clubs.
• 3.Your assistant calls you on a cell phone.
• 4.When you answer the phone start counting to your assistant A, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, etc.
• 5.When you reach the selected card (4) your assistant says your name as if you had just answered the phone.
• 6.You immediately start naming the suits, Clubs, Hearts, Spades, Diamonds,
• 7.When you get to the selected card (Hearts) your assistant says pick a card and hands the phone to the spectator.
• 8.You now know the selected card (four of Hearts) so you can reveal it to the spectator in your most magical manner.
